I know that it will never be easy, but there is always time to make a decision. Google use to say “It has come to our attention..” on their love letter, and I have thought about this for pretty long time. I even have discussed about this to some friends which are supporting me to do this and ready to joining in.
Long story short, I have decided that from now I will set JackBook.Com to be accessible to premium readers only.
That means this post would be the last post that is free to access. Start on the next newer post, you won’t be able to access the new post unless you have join to be our premium members.
How much should you pay to be a premium member?
You have two Fee Options,
- Monthly Fee Base = $10
- Annual Fee Base = $100 *save $20

One question… why?
Amidst all the blogs online to date, why would anyone pay up to access a blog which articles he/she can see elsewhere? Adsense posts, Blogger posts, etc. are everywhere and are provided for free.
As for templates, don’t you realize that this site got popular because of websites linking back to Jackbook.com because of the provided templates? “Best Blogger Themes” lists are everywhere and most point back to this blog. If a new visitor clicks on a link, then gets surprised by a ‘premium members only’ halt, do you think he/she would care to bookmark even?
Don’t get me wrong, Jack, I have been an avid lurker here. I’m even using one of your templates, but truth be told, that’s the only reason why I keep coming back–the templates (no offense but the other posts just don’t strike me–and because English isn’t your first language, I find it hard to understand you wordy posts).
My point is, think hard about this decision. If access is only for people who choose to pay up, how will people link to you? That said, how will you earn from pageviews? How will your page rank go up? Do you honestly think doing this is the best option?
Think about it. But whatever you decide, just want to extend my thanks again. I will miss your templates.
