No. It’s just as simple as that, “no.” I know that is a goal for many people, but I think becoming a millionaire (from blogging) is almost equivalent to becoming an A-list (maybe even B, C or D-list) movie star. It has been done many times before but if you think about the number of people who try to make it, then you’ll realize it’s rare. But we don’t need to become a millionaire to be rich… enough.Growing up, who didn’t want to be famous like a celebrity at some point in time? More than likely, we all have. Also, as we have gotten older we wanted to become filthy rich and swimming in our own cash. The idea is to never work again and be able to buy whatever you want with no limits.

If you’re a blogger, you know there is a chance to become a millionaire, but again, it’s rare. On top of that, there are more than 11 million people blogging (probably a lot more) and out of that number, how many are actually millionaire bloggers?

Yeah, exactly.

But do we REALLY need to be millionaires anyways? Definitely not. If we can make enough money from blogging to quit our day jobs, then shouldn’t that be enough?

Don’t get me wrong, it’ll be nice to be a millionaire, but making six-figures a year would be plenty!

I know a lot of people blog because they have dreams equivalent to becoming a movie star and they have the passion for writing, so that’s what should really matter. But on top of that, they want to focus on doing that for a living and if you do that, you will need to make money.

So nothing should stop you from doing so. If you are passionate at blogging, you are a writer with a dream. Just remember ‘You Are NOT John Chow, Jeremy Schoemaker or Darren Rowse so Don’t Try to Be!’

Be yourself, don’t let anyone change you! The money will come eventually, maybe not millions at a time…

But that would sure be nice!
