Yes, It’s time to say good bye to HaloSCAN. if you want to know why i don’t like HaloScan as my comment system. please read here: Should we use HaloScan
Now, i turn it back to my old hack to get a comment form under post. but with a little html code so make you easier to leave a comment.
so here it is. an html code to leave a comment easier in blogger. just like a wordpress style.
first, please make sure that you have install my blogger hack here.
1. go to your html editor on your blogger dashboard
2. find this code
</body>
it’s usually, on second last line of your html code.
Update:
3. copy all this code below, and paste it on the bottom of your html code, just make sure it’s still in the body tag. you may put it directly on top of </body> tag code.
<!-- www.jackbook.com --><!-- this to hide and show el --><script languange='javascript'>function showcomment(a,b){var jackbookdotcom = document.getElementById(a);jackbookdotcom.style.display = 'none';jackbookdotcom = document.getElementById(b);jackbookdotcom.style.display = 'block';}</script><!-- www.jackbook.com -->
4. find this html code below
<!-- this iframe below is your comment form. you can change the height, or add more style property into it --><div style='height:750px; margin-bottom: 5px; background: #fff none; border: 1px solid #FCO;'><iframe expr:src='data:post.addCommentUrl' height='100%' scrolling='yes' width='100%'/><br/><a href='http://www.jackbook.com/2007/06/how-to-make-readers-leave-comment.html" title="Want to have this on your blogger/blogspot?'>Comment Form under post in blogger/blogspot</a></div><!-- end of iframe -->
5. Change with this code below
<div id='comment-parent' onmouseover='showcomment("hoverme", "comment-child");'><h3 id='hoverme' style='display:block;'><img alt='Your cOmment"s Here! Hover Your cUrsOr to leave a cOmment.' src='http://lifewg.googlepages.com/html-code-leave-comment.gif' title='Your cOmment"s Here! Hover Your cUrsOr to leave a cOmment.'/></h3>
<!-- this iframe below is your comment form. you can change the height, or add more style property into it --><div id='comment-child' style='display: none; width: 420px; height:750px; margin-bottom: 5px; background: #fff none; border: 1px solid #FCO;'><iframe expr:src='data:post.addCommentUrl' height='100%' scrolling='yes' width='100%'/><br/><a href='http://www.jackbook.com/2007/06/how-to-make-readers-leave-comment.html' title='Want to have this on your blogger/blogspot?'>Comment Form under post in blogger/blogspot</a></div><!-- end of iframe -->
</div>
6. save your template
7. done.

hey.. that’s fast replay
how do you think Sir Karthik ?
helllo! you change back to haloscan already. =D
yes Nicholas,
and again it’s because blogger gives me the url of the post being commented. which haloscan doesn’t
thanks for the fast reply.
nice
Great Jack!
I will try it with my blog.
Great Job!
Thanks Jack!
i just change back to blogger comment because i realise that haloscan have nofollow tag
since haloscan is being loaded externally by the javascript, even haloscan has nofollow tag or not, it doesn’t matter actually. because google won’t index it.
so you want to have it with nofollow tag?
i change back to blogger! yay
hey, thanks. but how can I make it look like yours, your’s has some extras,right?
@JuventusCadillac
No, actually, if you follow all the steps above, you will get a comment form just like this.
thanks for asking that question.
