Are you still using a free blogging services for your blog? good. Nothing’s wrong with that, in fact if you don’t have enough time to maintain it, I recommend you to use free blogging services to host your blog. But what about your domain? are you either still using a free sub domain? blabla.blogspot.com? yourname.wordpres.com? if your answer is yes, then I have to suggest you to quick buy your domain name now.
Why? What’s wrong with the free sub domain? If it’s OK to use a free blogging services to host my site, then it should be no problem with using their free sub domain services too rite? No, There is a problem with a free sub domain.
Before I bought this JackBook dot Com domain, it was a lifewg.blogspot.com actually. I hosted this blog on blogger / blogspot. It run pretty good, until on the second month. It was a Google Pagerank Update, and this 2 months (actually it’s 1,5 month) old blog got Pagerank 3. Very nice, Unfortunately that time this blog was lifewg.blogspot.com, not this current domain.
So when I finally decided to buy my own domain, all those Pagerank was gone. And it’s not even just the pagerank, All links from other sites were became useless also since they’re still linking to the old sub domain. All my stats on Technorati, on Alexa, on Digg, Stumble Upon, Del.icio.us All of them were just gone that way. All was just because my stupidity using a free sub domain for my blog.
I wish I bought my own domain since the first I started this site, Probably I’d already have Pagerank 6 or 7, and another better stats also.
So please learn from my mistake. Domain name is cheap, for a .COM and .NET it’s only about $9 USD a year. for .INFO even cheaper just about $2 USD per year. for .ORG and .US it’s about $6 per year.
Integrating your own domain name with blogger is free and fast. How about wordpress? Well it will cost you $15 per year. Yeah pretty expensive, but still it’s cheaper then if you host it on your own web host.
So what are you waiting for? If you are still thinking that you are not yet serious running your blog, let me tell you, You Will! You will think to run your blog seriously. Trust me! And if next day you think my suggest was wrong, well you would lose $9 only anyway.
So what are you waiting for? go get your own domain name! I wish I had enough money to buy you all Jack Book readers your own domain name, I would buy it.
Now I hope next time I won’t see any dot blogspot or dot wordpress anymore

what if another people bought blog-review-holic.com today?
Your site is about review site rite? did you know that many paid review network such as PayPerPost, ReviewMe, SponsoredReview etc they don’t accept review from a free subdomain blog. that means you will never be able to make money with them.
Jeniffer Laycock, the owner of Lativist once said that the biggest blogging mistake she ever did is that she didn’t buy her blog her own domain name. she use blogspot too, and she’s sorry for it. you can read it here.

Yes! Besides having own domain, you can have your own freedom to make changes on your blog. unlike free blog services, you have some limitations to add extra plugins when comparing to WordPress.
Well, I have set up my blog not long ago, just 2 weeks ago. I won’t regret to get my own domain so fast as I’m still a newbie blogger
Well, $9 domain per year is very cheap. So far I bought my domain for $10++.
