I had to waited for about 3 days until they came back from their vacation, and help me upgrade my bandwith so this site can live again. 3 days waiting for them vacation while this site was down
3. Full control of your domain. On some web host, they allow us to control our own domain. It means we can point our site to any web host, even on the free one like blogger. but unfortunately some web host won’t let us to control our domain. So before you decided to buy their services, make sure that you have full control of your domain.

I’m confused. First i was confused by blogger.com and those problems on custom domain lately, also lack of customer service (anyone has experience of successfully contacting google or blogger?). This resulting one of my blog domain went into a mess. So i planned to move to wordpress.org and buy a hosting plan. I felt enough with free hosting.
I found some ‘recommended’ hosting service from wordpress.org. Bluehost & big player GoDaddy are absolutely out of my list for their price while 1and1 rejected my application because of where i come from.
The best left was ANHosting, then they have this stupid payment method (there’s no way i will again give my cc information instead of G Checkout and Paypal) and the sales reps is not helpful for non techies. So it was delayed. Then one of my friend suggest Dreamhost, i’ve checked their site and found cool hosting plans until earlier this week Anhosting offered 4.95 per month for out of mind package. This morning a respectable blog design blog also suggest Anhosting but now Jackbook.com, my favorite blog and one of the most creative blogger in the market suggests Hostgator. If I stick with blogger then i might let google and their ’silent customer service policy’ control my internet life more and more, while moving to smaller hosting site is confusing and seems to be a super hard work ahead of my blogging days.
I’m more and more confused. I wish i am more techie than i am now. My internet life sucks.

I my self have already tried about 3 or 4 web host for my sites. Some friends of mine also suggested me about DreamHost too, some even suggest me to move to MediaTemple. and some even suggest me to a local host on my neighborhood because of course they will give us a better support, well they said so.
I think all you need to is just get some “trial and error” with those web host provider until you find the perfect one for you.
If your site doesn’t have high traffic yet, then you probably better try the cheaper one. but if your site has been growing to be big and is likely have a high traffic, then you probably can consider to find the better one. Price doesn’t lie rite?
And what’s wrong with paypal anyway? I can’t believe you can’t use paypal there?
