When I am on writing a post or an article, sometime I got something weird with my images on firefox, sometime the images don’t show up, so weird. Until I noticed that there is a strange attribute on the images code.
It’s pretty much like this
<img src=”the-images-url-here” ilo-full-src=”the-same-image-url-here”/>
which is it should be something like this
<img src=”the-images-url-here” ilo-full-src=”the-same-image-url-here”/>
So what the heck ilo-full-src is? this got me headache for a while since I can’t find any info about this attribute on google. Thanks that finally I found this page, the wiki of fckeditor.
It’s said
“Strange attribute named “ilo-full-src” on images when working with Firefox
It may happen if you have the “ImgLikeOpera” extension installed. Just disable it and everything will work fine.”
Oh how couldn’t I noticed it? yes, it is because I have ImgLikeOpera active on my firefox. Now it’s clear. ilo-full-src is an image attribute added by the ImgLikeOpera addon.
What is ImgLikeOpera addon?
If you have experience using Opera Internet Browser, then you must know that in Opera we can set our browser in some options on showing images or not. Should the browser load and show the images, or just show the images that has been already cached, or not showing images at all.
In Firefox we can do that. By installing this ImgLikeOpera addon, we can tell our firefox to do the same behavior as Opera does.
Look at the screenshot below

So if next time you face a problem with ilo-full-src image attribute, you know what to do right?

I have not encountered this problem this before. Might be because I have not tried installing that ad-on my firefox browser.
Jack, this will automatically rank number one for the keyword “ilo-full-src”
You are just
hehe you’re right.
that’s my point :twist:
oh, and i am already #1 now
You are just
Jack! I just learned something again.
Jack thanks for bringing out firefox addons in your post, because everytime i hear those 2 words, i always tempt to install. Lately my mind always questioning this like: ‘Are these add on well configured?’ (now since i use wordpress my regular question is ‘does this plug ins configured well’?
).
Surely without addons, firefox is just another browser with tabs, but too many addons freezes the cool browser. That once made me installed Flock which is worse. Do you have experience to share which addons are making your browser freeze except Firebug and Google Sync dude? And also, do you use Firefox 3? Is it cool?
(Does my English well configured?) Thanks Jack.
yeah i have about 10 addons installed here
i’ll share them later on a new post.
thanks
