All Adsense Publisher must know that Ads Placement is one of the most important things to take more attention in building a website or blog.

What is it actually? What is the best placement like? Is it on the top of the site? or is it should be on the sidebar? or it is under the posts? Let’s learn it together.

As Google said, The best placement for Google Ads varies from page to page, That’s why the answer for the question Where should I place Google Ads on my pages has to come from your own.

So I cannot say that the best place is on the top of the page or where else, you need to decide it your self because like Google said before, it varies from page to page.

Watch Your Front Page

Now, why don’t we take some blogs or site for examples. I have my friend over there in Singapore, BetShopBoy. His real name is Cheewee Ng, but everyone deserve to be called as they like of course.

As another site talk about Make Money Online, And we can see that the primary making money program is Adsense, we can say that he doesn’t put his Google Ads on the best place there. With a large image on the header, It’s like the image is saying “hi, I’m the frontpage, don’t you have a bigger monitor there?” sorry man, but I have to be honest here.

Too Large image for your front page can be so much disturbing for some people while they are come expecting to read some article on your site. Well, at least that is the first thing appear on my mind on my first come. luckily, he writes pretty well on his site, so I pretty enjoyed my time reading some his posts.

And just like the other readers of the evil chow site, he is also offering a free blog review for you. you can make a review of his post and his blog, and you’ll get a review back from him. that is good, since his blog has a pagerank updated.

Count your images
To many images or one heavy size image may slow down your visitors loading, and it will become so more frustrating if your visitors use a dial up connection to connect to the internet. Just try to make it sure that your site takes at most 5 seconds or less to appear. Longer then that, I’ll just push the x button upright corner there or type girlsnakedonthemalls.com on my browser’s address. [you don't think that link is exists do you? oh does it really exists? I didn't know that, I'll go there if it exists ]

Watch Your Width
Back to the Ads Placement, Betshopboy has also a wide site, I looked into his source code and find that the design width is 1024px. wow, that is wide! That give me more problem because I need to always slide my horizontal scrollbar left and right if to see the full face.

Watch Your Sidebar and Your Color
And the next is about the sidebar ads, It is too skinny in that wide sidebar isn’t it? and that color, how would people click or even read their ads man? I think Betshopboy needs to redesign his blog and color to be more calm and easy to read.
